| ahhhh......that makes sense....just wanted to point out to others the potential pitfalls of going OEm with vista.....its all a bit muddy

| | ...if you dont have vista and want the nice side bar, go download the Google Sidebar... Its the same thing, even has a gamercard gadget. Infact, id say that Windows bought a version of the google sidebar and added transparencies...

| There are a large number of sidebar applications available for XP without the Google "Information gathering" software included.
I'd use one of those.

| OEM means the license is tied to a particular machine and is not transferrable - like the version of Windows you get if you buy a PC/Laptop is usually an OEM version - you can't (legally) go ahead and install it on another machine.
