Ok guys, my beloved 360 was stolen on saturday afternoon (23rd Feb), including all my games, along with some other stuff. The police have been notified, but hold out little hope of getting it back. Is there a contact number for me to get intouch with microsoft to report this, so they could monitor XBL and see if my box gets connected to XBL? They left the power supply tho, bloody idiots. Any help would be much appreciated. If anyone who lives in the Birmingham area knows of any being sold on the cheap (Mine was sprayed Silver, and had an Assassin's Creed faceplate) could they let me know asap. THX

sorry to hear that dude, i live in Brum as well. thats the trouble with most gamers gaffs, there like Aladins caves for the sh1tbags of society who don't beleive in working for something, they'd sooner rob it off you like leeches. i'd bring back birching for scum like this, or a spell in the stocks. hope your covered on insurance

Sorry M8. I agree with flan, bring back the birch/death penatly.

I have all my games from megadrive days too today, it would be impossible to replace them if they were stolen. They are not usually covered on the house insurance

its a good point ! yes if you have registered your 360 with live then technically they could track when this machine comes online, however running through the reams and reams of data produced by the main hub just to find your 360 if it ever goes online, unlikey, sorry dude next fit a tracking device, or better still a self-destruct if the 360 leaves a certain area

Microshite finaly got in touch with me (4 days after my box was stolen) and told me to contact customer support 0800 587 1102, i chatted with their security team and this is what will happen.

1. My xbox live account will be suspended.

2. My xbox will not be able to connect to Xbox Live.

3. The "THIEF" will have to contact Xbox Live to get the box online, where the customer service rep will ask a few questions, the "THIEF" will probably say "I bought the consol 2nd hand" The Customer Service rep will ask for his details, Address, Contact Number, etc, where they will then give him XBL Access.

4. Customer Service will then contact me with the new details, where i can then goto the Police and hand them over, and he will get a nice little visit.

5. If the xbox ever gets the "ring of death" or any other hardware faults, it will not be repaired, because the xbox has been reported stolen, and can only be reactivated by myself if i ever get it back.

6. My gamertag will not be lost (Thank God) and when i get my new box, i have to phone XBL up, give them a reference number and they will re-activate my account

All this took 33 mins to sort out, thank god it was an 0800 number

Well it's been awhile since my beloved box was stolen, the loss adjuster paid me a vist today, and all looks good, the only thing was, i went out and bought a 360 elite last week, and forgot he was coming round, he saw it and questioned me about it, when i explained "I bought it because i was sick and tired of watching all the crap the mrs watches, i had to buy one to get some sanity back in my life" he just laughed, made a note on his little book, saying to re-imburse me with the £300 quid i paid for the box, now the hard part comes, getting all my cars back on Forza 2, and my save game places............some long nights are coming in

Boy i'm glad to have the box back
