Gears definately pushed the xbox360, when things got busy you saw some slow down. Assassins Creed had limited gameplay and a lot of repetition of character models and slow down. Cod4 limits you to corridors and set piece animations.<P>GTA4 is a full blown city and in order to achieve that you have to compromise with the graphics. I think liberty city is an amazing achievement, with sights and sounds that really feels like a city, and does the job without any slow down. Just because the graphics aren't all that doesn't mean the game isn't pushing the box. </P><P>The xbox360 could never do gears of war graphics and the scale of gta4. Its all about compromise.
