| After 6 months without any WoW i feel the need to try another MMORPG, just read a review in a magazine and it gave it 9/10, thinking about buying it but i thought id see if anyone else has tried it first? Anybody???

| | I got this along with jestor taber and strat , i got the 10 day pack befor it was released and then bought the collecters edition with the life time subscription. I stopped playing wow not long after the burning crusade was released and was not going to get this as wow took over my life and i didn't want the same to happen. But really pleased i got it and it is like wow in some ways but not in others (dosn't seem to be as much grinding). So imo if you liked wow then you will like this and if you do get it we are on the snowbourn server. Cya in middle earth

| | cool sounds good to me ill have to pick it up the pack you got does that mean with the life time thing you dont have to pay online????? cos if yo dont im deffo getting it

| cool ill see u in snowbourn  What i found with WoW also was that even though i payed 8.99 subscription this saved me money as i usually got about 2-3 360 games a month, so its a way of saving money imo

| I played for 10 days. As a lvl 60 ex WoW player...I loved it. The UI and certain parts of teh game can be...well...very similar. But it's a whole new planet to explore - loads of new areas etc....
If I had the time to put in to get my moneys worth on the monthly subs I would get this - I liked it as much as WoW in the time I played it...jsut don't have enough time to commit to it

The pack with the lifetime subscription sells for between £150 to £180 and is called the collecters edition but not sure if there is any left (sure you could find one somewhere) Othere wise you have to pay each month but atm they doing lifetime subs on the lotro site but they are £150 and you would have to buy the game aswell which is about £30. if you gonna play some time then life sub is good thing as for me i was on wow for 2 years and i think i must have spent with the game and expansion about £300 so for me i thought it was worth getting the collecters

| | we are on snowbourn server and the kinship name is What a carry on (we all named after carry on people) Im Hengistpod , jestor is rumpokid , taber is vicflange and strat is joshfiddler So if you come on give us a shout. Also i think chas is matron but i am not sure that he has been on for a while (but im sure he will let us know in this thread) cya soon
