| | Hi all, basically im looking for anyone else within the community that actually play pc games online. I've just brought a new pc. And installed a few games. Heres a list of games I've currently got installed. Quake 3 Arena + mods Doom3 ( Never played it online ) Doom3 ROE ( Never played it online ) Quake 4 + q4max Battlefield 2 ( Hardly Played it online ). Cod2 Half life 2 + CS Source. Battlefield 2142. ( Never played it online ) Let me know if anyone plays any of these games. If so perhaps we could arrange a game of something sometime?.

| I still play PC games now and then, mostly just play Guild Wars and EvE rarely.
FPS wise its CS Source or Battlefield 2
used to be very heavily into quake & UT back in the day

| | I have a couple of friends who play EVE, they love it. Sadly its not my thing. Since having my new pc, I'm really enjoying going back threw all my old pc games. Installed Far Cry today, had all the graphics upto the max @ 1680 x 1050. And to say its a old game its looks lovely ( And runs at 100+ fps ). And I forgot how much I enjoyed this game the first time around. But anything I've thrown at it so far hasnt been a problem. Doom3, quake 4 all at 1680 x 1050 with max details, and both run smooth as silk, also they look amazing. Half life 2 looks brilliant and runs smooth as silk also. Really chuffed with the new pc. It would be great if some people from the myxbox community played fps games on the pc.

| I get my new pc on monday (dual core E6750, 2gig ram, gefoorce 8800 gtx, 500gb hard drive) got it for £890 which i didnt think was too bad, gonna be playing LOTRO on it mainly but gonna install some classics like half life 2 and battlefield 2 i think, not even tried half life 2 online i dont think

| | Nice System Aiden. I'm very happy with mine which is similar spec to yours. Dual Core 2 E6750 2gb Ram 500gb Sata HD Radeon x1950 Pro 512mb 22" Widescreen Samung Monitor ( Love it! ) My system in total has cost me about £750 including the monitor, so I'm pretty happy with it. Can run all games on max details and highest res my monitor will support. The all look lovely . Bet that 8800GTX is a monster .

| £750 WITH 22 monitor, how did you do that? Yeah cant wait to see what the beast (8800gtx) looks like, running on a 6200 atm which is poo!
Gonna give CS source a try too, is it any good?

| I've never been a CS fan, always been a quake man  .But halflife 2, CS:Source, HL2 Lost Coast I can run at full whack possible. And to be honest they look lovely. The lost coast demo, is a demo which has been used to benchmark pc's in the past. My benchmark score was average of 130fps everything upto the max @ 1680x1050 . So on a 8800GTX it should be mega frames per second .

| I have a 8800 GTX, 2GB of Corsair 800MHz DDR2 and an E6600 Core Duo on an Asus P32N5E-SLI all in a NZXT Case.
I also have a Dell Ultrasharp 24" Monitor (1900x1200).
All ready for the Eve DX10 engine release in November.

It is, as you'd say, f'kin awesome for gaming.
It was also a lot more expensive than your £750 machine, so awesome job on the bargain-hunting mate!
