| Rockstar Games is proud to announce the release date for Grand Theft Auto IV, the new title in the genre-defining Grand Theft Auto franchise. Developed by Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto IV will be available for Xbox 360 worldwide on April 29, 2008.
"We are so excited to be releasing Grand Theft Auto IV," said Sam Houser, Founder and Executive Producer of Rockstar Games. "We've pushed ourselves very hard to make something incredible and hope the game sets a new benchmark for interactive entertainment."

| I like the look of the trailers, but no matter how excited I get about a GTA game I always just play about 10% of the campaign, mess around on side things for a while and then its gathering dust....

| i really want to get excited about this but i never got in to san andreas after the sublime gta3 and vice city.
Just when i thought i was in they threw me back out. |

| Im looking forwards to it but have to agree with comments about san andreas being bit rubbish compared to previous games i sold ot off soon after owning it a couple of days and theres not many games ive done that with.
