The graphics and attention to detail speak for itself. Amazing!! .

I've looked threw the online options, and I'm unable to find a section where you can host you're own game and invite you're friends ( Which I was expecting at least ). Instead you get a choice of races, which upon joining puts you against random people. And my One and only race was extremely unclean and unenjoyable. People blocking and using cars infront as there brakes. I heard no one at all on voice comms.

The one thing I've really enjoyed is the time trial section ( Under Arcade ). Which you can scout threw the leaderboards. But this lacks the facility of being able to check you're friends best times.

I have done a couple of drift trials. And come in the top 10 on the score boards .

This game does have shed loads of potential. But the online play really is lacking in this version. Lets hope they address the friends list options, and the ability to host you're own races. These are simple things that we as Xbox Live Users expect as the norm.

*EDIT* Apparently from various sources, friends lists and the ability to host you're own games is coming in a future patch/update. Fingers crossed

I can see this game turning things around for the PS3 - still too expensive for the only game I'd play (the proper F1 game with arcade handling ) though for me.

Although the game will allow for 16 players to race against each other when it launches in Europe on PSN on March 27 (April 15 in the States), the online gameplay set-up options are thin on the ground.

You can only join Sony-created servers with pre-set scenarios - you can't set any gameplay options for yourself. But Imasaki promises that more options will be available - just not in time for launch.

"Private races with buddies and in-game chat are all in the works... but will not be ready from day one," Imasaki told posters on the official PlayStation blog. "Will keep you posted on the progress!" he added.

And so the package that more cynical critics call "just a demo" gets even larger.

Looks really great but in all honesty it wasn't significantly better visually than Forza 2 - it's not exactly putting a Da Vinci next to a child's painting as some PS3 fanboys would have us believe when it comes to comparing it's visuals to Forza 2 - the cars look marginally better though.

they must all be on the disc so they must just be opening up afew at atime but what i have read into it is that the yanks dont get the game till 19 apr so most wont get unlocked untill after that date.

like i said the first is about the new evo showing early testing and how they test it giving you loads of stats as you go tony jardine from f1 is narrating its mostly the producer of gran turismo thats driving the cars but must admit i love this kind of stuff.

then low and behold 2 more vids opened up all about the new nissan gtr which for me is now just behind ferrari as one of the most amazing production cars ever built you get to see early footage and loads of stats the the iceing on the cake a onboard lap of nurumburg which is fucking amazing .

all the vids are in hd and the picture is amazing i know this game didnt go down well at the lan but we really didnt give it much play i was bit miffed at paying £25  ( well my lad did birthday prezzie) but at the moment its looking like money well spent with the soon d/l top gear track and eps it looks like the killer car game it is muted to be .
