We did this for a while before and it seemed to be working well to an extent but then it kinda fizzled out. So if, like me you'd like to receive an invite for another game once in awhile and not just Call of Sodding Duty 4* then maybe it's time to get this going again.

Spenn has said about having a game of Burnout Paradise sometime and I'd love to give this a go again. It's a bit short notice but if anyones up for it perhaps we can try and get a game of it going tonight.

After that I'm thinking maybe we could look at playing something different on either a Tuesday and/or Thursday night. Obviously this would be a completely open and optional invitation, I'm not trying to force anyone to play something they don't want to play and I'm not saying we have to sit there all night playing a particular game. With some games there may even be only a couple of us that have it, but it's just an opportunity to get in the habit of having a bit of variety in our gaming and giving some long and not so long neglected games an airing, even if we have to throw open a room and play with some randoms - that in itself usually provides some entertainment all on it's own .

Just looking through my own collection, I have a number of games that I would love to play again and that's maybe a good place to start - if you want some alternate gaming action, what games have you got that you would like to play again, then we can start organising some sessions?

Here's my list:

Brian Lara Cricket
Burnout Paradise
Call of Duty 2!!
FlatOut
Forza Motorsport 2
Frontlines: Fuel of War
Gears of War
GRAW 2
Links
Orange Box
PGR 4
Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Sega Rally

So it's Burnout Paradise tonight if anyone else is up for it then we can start discussions on what to play on Tuesday night, if anyone's still reading .

* Not that there's anything wrong with the game, far from it, it's still a fantastic game and is going to take some beating, but sometimes you can have too much of a good thing and just need to give it a break and play something different for a change.

I've still got Flatout and still play it - such a good laugh online and would be great if we could get a few forum people on it. Also have Links as well which I'm up for (I assume you mean Links2004 for the Xbox Chas?). Would love some online golf and can't stand the Tiger Woods games

Yup good old Links 2004 on the Xbox, couldn't get on with Tiger Woods either, Links still just feels so much better.

I'll be up for Burnout tonight.

I also have links for the old xbox (if I can find it) and would like to play that another night.

Chas (24/04/2008)
Yup good old Links 2004 on the Xbox, couldn't get on with Tiger Woods either, Links still just feels so much better.

I wish i had not got rid of this as i did enjoy the games we had on old xbox ( may try and get a copy of this if anyone wants a game ) as atm i only have 4 games which are PGR4 which i wouldn't mind playing online if anyone wants to i also have R6V2 which as soon as i finish the story in realistic i think it may be getting traded which is a shame as i really enjoy it and if it had the same matchmaking idea as halo 3 it would be a lot better the other 2 games i have are vivapinata which i would get rid of but its only worth about a £1 traded in so may as well keep it and lastly i have halo 3 which is good multiplayer in matchmaking but i am shit at it.

I have a few arcade games if anyone wants a game one night which are uno , worms and i been playing gripshift this week which i think is really good.

But after all this GTA4 is out next week and if it lives up to all the hype then hopfully every one will be playing that for a while.

Good point about the Arcade games Lee I'd forgotten about them, i'll need to go through my list as I've bought way too many but I can think of a few off the top of my head that I'd like to play again, Uno, Texas Hold 'Em, Carcasonne, Catan, Marble Blast Ultra, Worms to name a few.

I can fee another list coming on . We could play a few of them in one night, again something we could do on a semi regular basis on an alternate gaming night.
