| Well today was supposed to be the day i get the gadget that i have always wanted. I got up in a happy mood and gleefully went off to work knowing that i only had to work half day. I travelled home in a cheerful mood as well. Got home and even made myself a burger and chips.....
13:50 the door bell rang a the delivery had been done, Check out The Parcel.jpg below.
The smile that extented across my face made my face hurt as i was filled up with happiness (the sort that you get when the wife lets you out for a piss up).
Unwrapping the parcel was even better, knowing that below was something stunning.
Being the cautious person that i am i decided to check if everything was ok before i proceeded. check photo 2 and 3
The joyous feeling soon disapeared and a feeling of "i would like to kick the living sh!t out of some t*sser" started to come over me.
on phoning the well known unmentioned company i got put through to the delivery people and so began the even increasing circle of phone calls that i was put in. One was saying that they couldn't release another unit until a fault reference number was issued and in the same breath the other department was saying that it wasn't anything to do with them.
And the crowning turd in the water pipe is that they can't get a replacement out to me till the 16th May at the earliest.
Moan over i'm sure people will laugh. i thought i would share my misfortune to cheer you lot up..

I was stupid enough to shoot a 19inch LCD last year but it was pretty cheap so was not too much of a loss. Aye I remember that hehe Back on topic though that is sickening to be honest looked like someone took a mallet to it almost - hope the next one turns up in one piece. Finger's crossed.

| Dixons was the company that i got it from and to be fair to them they were the ones keeping my informed at every stage of the transaction it was the delivery people that were being awkward.
it looks in the picture that the screen is cracked but when the screen is turned off the screen looks completely intact it is the screen behind (the one the generates the picture) that is cracked.
I had visions of playing all sorts of games on that tonight just to see what the HD side of things looked like
Gutted is not the word...................
