| Well after continuously dropping the long notes whilst playing GHIII at the Lan, and several times tonight i decided to try and fix the bloody guitar. Talking to Art at the lan i took the neck of the guitar apart and then moved the circuit board (the one that connects the 2 bits together), in front of its holding slot and then put the neck back together again. Now i've managed to get 100% on a couple of songs that i struggled with before, so it must have made a difference......
Cheers Art
I may be shit, but i'm enjoying myself !!!

| | When I got my guitar the neck was slightly loose and started to notice the occasional held note just cutting out. This got worse and worse so looked on the web and a suggestion was made to move the contact board in front of its holder in the guitar neck. You can wedge it with a bit of plastic or card behind however once you reassemble it the fit is so much snugger does not move at all and notes no longer cut out. pleased it worked for you mad Art heres the link http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=628006

| I first noticed it in the tracks with the held notes, such as the muse track (not too sure about the U2 tracks a Chas), in GHIII. As Art says the long notes just drop out when you know that you haven't moved your finger in any way.

| It thought this might explain why I cannot finish all the songs on hard or expert. Then I realised - 1. I my guitar is not wireless, 2. I am rubbish at guitar hero

It certainly doesn't explain why I can't finish any of the songs on hard or expert...
