| | interesting article on eurogamer about the graphics on gta4 and this snippet: What is curious to me is that I can see no technical reason why the 360 game shouldn't just be a more detailed, smoother version of the PS3 version. Indeed, if the texture-dither filter could be turned off with a selectable option in a forthcoming patch, I'm almost certain that it would be the superior-looking game simply by virtue of the extra resolution and edge-filtering. So it looks like the quality is actually a style choice and there is a lot of work going on to make it that way. I think they had that toggle on the previous game so the image was sharper if you wanted.
Just when i thought i was in they threw me back out. |

| I read the full article after I saw the excerpt - makes for interesting reading. Funny how it mentioned the various staged comparisons by PS3 fanboys too - goes on a lot that - youtube is full of losers.
