Lewis Hamilton was a lucky boy after clipping the barrier and getting a puncture early doors, but he drove a great race in the wet, and deserved his win and the lead in the Championship. i do feel sorry for Sutil in the Force India after Raikkonen got his braking wrong and clattered into him finishing his race, and the flucky Finn got away with with a quick nose cone change, jammy bastard!

you see SK, even the best drivers get it wrong at times, just remember that when you venture onto Live with Grid and Chas mounts you at the rear(oh dear, i'm having a LAN flashback...)...

who says you can't polish a turd...

Aye Lewis was lucky to escape with just a puncture it could have been a lot worse.

Mind you, Alonso was even luckier I thought he didn't half whack the barrier and it looked like his suspension was knacked but it was just the wheel in the end.

I was gutted for Sutil though - he was in fourth place on merit and that scandinavian bonehead wrecked it all for him at the death.

Overall it was an entertaining race and although Lewis had the luck to begin with he also had the measure of everyone else - one could argue he got lucky too with the first safety car but the second one cancelled that out and then some - to have a lead of over 30 seconds cut to nothing after doing all that outstanding work must be gutting.

As to the comment about GRID - not sure how to take that as I know full well accidents happen and all that but my distaste for racing online isn't that - it's people who bully other people on the track and make unneccessary contact - those are the people who get on my nerves not the people genuinely trying to have fun and race.

Maybe it's this piece of luck that turns things around for him.

Massa is driving better than ever and taking points off Raikkonen but is still fragile in areas Hamilton is strong; overtaking, mental strength, pressure absorbtion and concentration.

I have no doubt in my mind now that Hamilton is the real deal and has as much chance, and deserving, as anyone else on the grid.

He stuck it to the others in Canada last year too so perhaps can gain there in a few weeks time.

I still see Raikkonen as the main threat to Hamilton - as a Ferrari fan and also a Hamilton fan it's quite good to be following F1 at this time

Having said that I don't care for the way Raikkonen drove today particularly the mistake that lead to the hero of the race Sutil having his race ended when he could've got fourth place for a team that starts at the back of the grid. Sutil has demonstrated in the past he's very good in wet and changeable conditions and deserved to finish that race well in the points.

i dont blame kimi for the crash it was just like coultards crash in qualifying just shows how precise you have to be on every lap , as massa said in the press conference he only broke a bit on the white line and nearly ended up in the barrier.
im the same as you sk ferrari fan but lewis comes first then jenson but must admit after last year im starting to like mclearn esp ron dennis and hope hakki gets a good run soon.

I do like Kimi don't get me wrong I think he's the best driver out there at the moment but I think he's going through a bit of a bad form patch and Massa doing so well isn't helping.

Shame Sutil was there not sure where Kimi's car would've ended up if he hadn't hit Sutil - probably would've been fine albeit losing a few places.

Hi guys, i finally watched it monday morning, after working all day sunday.

Great race with lots of action, suprised everyone got through the 1st corner. Then Massa spinining off, Hamilton with hitting wall, Kubica thinking could win but wasnt to be.

Awesome Monaco GP.

I managed to score 88pts for monaco gp, most i ever scored in fantasy f1 for a race.

Bit annoyed with Sutil moment that Kimi caused, i was on for more pts then
