I'm just trying to figure out if a PS3 is for me, i like the idea of blue ray and play tv. I know what you mean, for me I think it is a "getting a new console" thing, there is nothing quite like opening the box and setting up a new console. However, everytime I look at game scores and release schedules they is nothing exclusive on the PS3 that I want that much. If they were around £150 I might reconsider. Also worth considering that both MS and Nintey are likely to release their new consoles by 2011, where as Sony will expect 7-10 years life from PS3... Interesting times ahead

| The 7-10 year life cycles they are talking about will match that of the ps1(one) and the ps2 in that it will not exclude a PS4 being around a number of years before the ps3 reaches its end.
