Don't know how old your family members are, but I've always enjoyed Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz as multiplayer game - my young nephew loves it when he comes round.

wii sports and wii play, good mutiplayer fun for all the family, including your gran. Fezza seems to go on about Raving Rabbits, so that is another one to look out for...

well after giving up all hope i have now purchased i Wii for the family to play on at xmas !!! anyone got any recomendation on games that will entertain everybody ? (quiz?)

well im sticking with mario and sonic only paying £25 for it so if no good still should get monies back.

must admit just read a few reviews on mario and sonic and well im stuck with what to do , its gone from a preorder the day i could to shall i cancel see what other gamers think of it .

plus raymen rabbits 2 is out soon and we loved the first one .

as for galaxy look at the video review on gamespot to me this is going to be game of the year so a no brainer for me.

Just read the Mario and Sonic reviews, very mixed bag with gamespot being the most critical. I was hoping this would replace Wii Sports as the best multiplayer game, but not sure now. The IGN review is the most positive, but I shall hold judgement for a couple of weeks and wait for the raymen rabbits review to compare.

Just seen the review for Mario/Sonic Olympics on Gamespot, and it doesn't seem too great

Only 6.0

Super Mario Galaxy gets a whopping 9.5 though.

I've never been into Mario (not a Ninty fan traditionally). Should I take the plunge here?

Get a memory card, just so you can save your Wii sports age! Mine started at the mid seventies and is now mid forties

Oh yes and Mario Sonic Olympics, just in case no one esle has mentioned that

all what rowie says an extra wimote with wii play and def rave rabbits 1 or 2 .

and have a look at some vids for mario olympics ive had it on pre order for ages looks right laugh.

and then a big smile when the rest of the family make you look like the total geek you are

i would definately get another remote & chuck...... best option is to get wii play which comes with a few half decent mini games but the bonus being you get a remote!!
So now you have wii sports/wii play and 2 remotes, 1 chuck.

Just get an extra chuck and your away....

Extra games wise i would consider Raving Rabbids.... the original was great fun and 2 will be out in a few weeks, also mario&sonic olympics!

you will have a ton of laughs and it will get the whole family going

just don't get too down when granny/small child beats you at 10 pin!!
