Just seen the new zelda demo for nintendo. I don't know if my standards are to high but it looks rubbish.

It's alright harking on about gameplay but come on if you bring a next gen machine out the graphics sould be better than this.

Is it just a cheap ploy by nintendo to sell us a cheap console(ie old tech in the machine) at an expensive price.

It's a Gamecube game. The Wii version has just been updated to utilise the controller, and that's about it.

On release date, two versions of the game will come out - a GC compatible version and a Wii compatible verison. Both are the same, it's only the control scheme that differs.

yeah, GFX arnt impressive and personally i dont feel that i could stand directly infront of my tv waggling that controller for a good time,

one of those consoles that i could play on around my mates house for a few hours but dont think i would invest in the console, personally i find any nintendo system aimed at the younger gamer in my own opinion,    live on the 360!!

Im lovin Zelda...and its the first one ive ever played.

Ok graphics may not be HD , but i tell you I am stuggling to think of a  game on the 360 that comes close to the storytelling , and feeling of love and polish that has been clearly lavished upon it. Im only a few hours in but you can just feel the quality in the game in everything you do.....know i see why the Zelda franchise is held in such high regard.

Its a breath of fresh air to sit down and play a console where games actually work and are not waiting for a patch. I was sceptical about the Wii but I am sold now , I dont feel that its pretending to be anything its not , we wern't made any promises it cant live up to , and above all its fun. It just does was it says on the tin.

Give me gameplay and games that work properly over HD and patch's anyday of the week.....

Fully agree Groove.  Zelda is amazing. For ages now, I've never played a game that has me so engrossed to carry on.  Even games like Gears of War, although brilliant and graphically flawless, just didn't cut it for me.

There aren't many games that can keep me playing through the night while the hours whizz by, but Twilight princess, along with Ocarina of Time and Link to the past have done it.

Twilight Princess is amazing and this is arguably the best Zelda since OOT (I didn't get on with Wind Waker, although I loved the graphical style).

Although technically it can't hold a candle to the best stuff on 360, the art design in TP is astonishingly good. The burnt umber and blacks in the twilight levels are eerily beautiful and the character design is just wonderful.

I think it's simply stunning.

I'm considering getting a Wii just to play Zelda as I've played and loved most of the series right from the NES.

As has been pointed out, it might not have the HD graphical trickery of games such as Gears of War but has style and charm in abundance. At the end of the day if I just wanted to look at something pretty I'd go to an art gallery.
