Race Against Clock

City: Núrburgring

Route: Half F1 Circuit

Car: Class D: Ferrari Challenge Stradale

Deadline: 11:00pm Sunday 25th February

Congrats to Reeves who won round 3 and has chosen the above details for round 4

Gonna run it to Sunday in case any of the competitors weren't checking the round 3 thread for the new challenge. Its very close at the top now, but someones gonna have to stop Reeves's winning streak to make sure he doesn't pull ahead too much

Good luck all - remember if you aint done it before - this is an open challenge and you can join in at any stage

I can't believe flan has gone and done the exact time as someone else again that is not easy to do. You 2 set me a challenge there and i just got a little faster today but i am finding it a struggle - only today and tomorrow left and it seems to be just us 3 that put quite a few laps in

i don't know whether Badz has made provision for same time finishes, do we both get the points or is it first one to post the time(which was Fezza). this is assuming that spineless wonder Reevsy doesn't better our time by .01 of a second...

breaking news...the ba$tards gone and done me again! damn you, damn you to hell...

who says you can't polish a turd...

So come on then you guys in the 16s, fess up: just how much chicane jumping is going on here?

I'm buggered if I can find three or four seconds any other way, so I hope you're not slowing down and staying on the black stuff...

cheers

J

my times legit Roller, a clean race, you only have to touch the grass on that course(especialy the last chicane) and you end up doing a 180/360. i can't vouch for the others, especialy that Reevsy, now if ever there was a cheating git it's him, his eyes are too close together you see...

lol.

fair enough Flan. I was kinda hoping there was some 'chicanery' going on. I can't see where I can find all that extra time.

I bow to your superior wheelsmanship

Nice times all of you. I'm impressed and depressed in equal measure...

cheers

Jonny

not as depressed as me, thats twice Reevsy has done me when i thought i couldn't be beat. my current time was posted under much stress and bulging veins, my eyes were bleeding by the end of about a two hour session, equalled Fezza's time and i was well and truely spent. me and Reevsy are akin to the old rivalry between F1's Michael Schumaker and Damon Hill...

I forgot about the challenge thanks to Crackdown.

I did put a lap in, but it was probably bobbins, not checked the leaderboard since i put my time in....
I did notice though that you can use the grass on some of the corners to your advantage, the hairpins especially...it actually gives a bit more traction for some reason....
