got this message from one of my friends. only, he didn't send it and the site the link takes you to hosted by hostsnake, a free hosting service.

Microsoft is giving away free 500 microsoft points http://500mspoints.tk please pass this on to your friends so they can get free microsoft points too

His pc is infected with spyware and accessing his email contact list I'll bet. I'd get him to remove you from it!

Got another xbox message (not email Joe) today from a different guy on my friends list (OpenKenzie).

M2AF everybody go to loginxbox.tk I just got 1600 MS points Hurry though!! I think it is a limited time offer

Is this another attempt to get you to reveal your xbox account details?

The tk domains are free and renowned for being used by spammers and phishers so i would doubt microsoft would use it.

How are they able to send messages on xbox disguised as someone else?

I have yet to get anything like that, maybe these people have that xbox live thing that you instal on your PC and their pc's have been hijacked with malware or something ..I would just delete them from my list.
